Exclamation Blockbuster's Plans for Gaming Hardware Sales!

You all know the Video Store company named "Hollywood Video" which has a Gaming Hardware Sales Section called "Game Crazy" correct!?

Now Blockbuster is announcing their new "Copied Obviously" Idea, Their bringing the gaming hardware sales to a local blockbuster near you. Their you will be able to purchase anywhere from The PSP to the Ps3, is this a market hype? Or is blockbuster just trying to compete "Like they always have instinctually" with Hollywood Video?

We'll one thing for sure is, Hollywood video's Game Crazy will have to step up their game and start selling and renting PC gaming Hardware (Selling) and Games (Selling & Renting) to catch up with blockbuster or else their bright idea (Which they first of all came up with) will have a hole in their revenue.

Happy Gaming!

Kind of sad really, blockbuster looks like it may be going out of business. Guess selling used games can't make up for the huge chunks of revenue that Netflicks is taking away.

H ye i remember most of their stores closing in brooklyn. First it was one then a year later another then all of them. A fine example of overpaid ceo's who did not know what to do to compete with netflix. they tried going online but too little too late. netflix has been online for five years when blockbuster joined the party.

I feel bad for Blockbuster, they seem to be struggling now with internet rental companies popping up and such.

Yeah between Netflix and Redbox, Blockbuster doesn't have a chance. But I'd use them if they had a game rental service cheaper than gamefly.

Yep, netflix is smashing everyone else. That's just how business works, people are going to do business with the establishment that is cheaper, more accesible, more innovative and more advertised. Without a doubt, that is netflix.

if hollywood allows companies like hulu to stream full length movies (i dont see why not) netflix will have a problem. i venture to say that most netflix subscribers have broadband. i think that the movie mailing business will have to transform into the movie streaming business. netflix seems to be on top of that too.
