I noticed you were having some issues with the TV tuner as well. Is that something thrown in by BTOtech with items like the laptop case and cables or is that what ASUS includes with the model?

If I recall correctly, the HP models Ive looked at had internal TV tuners, and that was a feature I really liked, so I just want to make sure I have an accurate picture of what I'm getting.

it wasnt really an issue with the tuner it just needed some of the settings tweaked in the software when i hooked it up to the set top. this is an internal tuner by avermedia

i havent had the chance to do any recent reviews. International customers are killing us and u.s. customers are not. there is little incentive for me to keep up with these reviews to be honest. i will try next week. there are a few vids i wanted to get done but none happen/

True enough on the incentive part. oh well, if there are other models or how-to's that make it into the library instead that's ok - I was curious what it looked like in reality along with Vista's expected battery life numbers with the 3470, as opposed to the promo pix and info from Asus that are circulating around.

Better to keep focus on the business than worry about producing video that doesn't contribute appreciably to sales, anyway....

i will try next week. i think the g50v-a2 will be my next project. after that the m70vm-c2 or the f6v. I need to wait for a customized order so i can review one because i need to have a unit that is being worked on. I cant just open a base unit and review it. someone who sees prints on the unit may not appreciate the fact that we opened it for no good reason (tho some people that i have asked did not mind).
